Bad ergonomics and working conditions cost companies (and the society) huge amounts of money. The costs are related to sick-leave, loss of productivity and motivation of the employees, staff turn-over, etc. Physical complaints such as RSI, lower back pain, neck and shoulder pain have become the "illness of the century", not only in Europe but also worldwide.
