Reinforcing prevention at school

For the last 10 years we have been giving numerous conferences and workshops. More often than not, participants asked why we were not intervening in primary schools to teach children early on. Today we are officially launching a pilot project in Switzerland to achieve this. It was time: a large number of teenagers already suffer neck and shoulder pain, before even entering the job market! The idea is not to replace parents or teachers in their role towards children, but rather to empower them in their preventive role and to help them becoming better role models as far as posture is concerned. We will organize workshops  for adults to help them create a "caring and competent circle" around the children. At home as well as in schools, we will offer awareness building, advice and assistance in
  • ergonomics, in particular as far using screen devices is concerned (tablets, smartphones, computers, etc.),
  • healthy postures and postural exercices for children (maybe even for adults!).

The idea is to get rid of the traditional and useless "sit up straight" advice. We want to make it fun for children to learn what it means to use their body (as well as new technologies) in a healthy way.

The peformace indicators will be chosen to describe health status, satisfaction, and even school results.

We are now looking for primary school that wish to join the pilot projet: contact us directly in case you are interested in this novel and ambitious project!
