what is your 24/7 posture?

It is the dynamic posture​ that you adopt all day long. It is largely responsible for your back pain, neck pain, sciatica, etc. But not only: the 2-4-7 posture system is also the DNA of my clinical practice.

There are 2 dimensions to your posture:
  • it is partly caused by your tools and environment (this is fixed by ergonomics)
  • it is partly caused by your habits (this is fixed by posture therapy)

Most people have 4 misconceptions about posture:
  • ​it's not about having a straight back or pulling your shoulders backwards
  • it's not complicated
  • it's not about spending loads on useless stuff 
  • it's not time-consuming

I commit to 7 principles:
  • I will help you understand how the body works: that's why I have created the 3 Rules of Posture
  • I will NOT make you depend on anybody
  • I will advise you on technical solutions: that's how to adjust, tune or change your hardware
  • I will advise you on organisational solutions: that's how to best use your time (incl. when to take breaks)
  • I will advise you on behavioral solutions: that's how to use your muscles and joints
  • I will show you tips and tricks to easily fit exercises into your existing daily activities
  • we will only define micro-goals, so that you never feel overwhelmed.

Why should you care?

More than 85% of the working population feels pain in the lower back, the neck, the shoulders, etc. For most, the symptoms are light and disappear by themselves after just a few days. But for many others, pain becomes chronic and impairing: they have to take days off work, and they can't carry out your normal daily activities anymore (e.g., playing with your kids, practice sports, gardening).

The next step is usually medication, cortisone injections and sometimes even surgery. This is why most of my clients nowadays are sent by the invalidity insurance! Believe me, you don't want to just sit there and witness your pain worsen day by day...

​What can I do for you?

My clients are individuals, families, companies and schools. The best return on investment is of course prevention: by improving your environment at home, at work and in your hobbies (i.e. improving ergonomics), by improving your habits (i.e. correcting your posture and improving the way you organize your time) and by teaching you simple and safe daily exercises, you can reduce the burden on your muscles and joints and thereby reduce the risk of overusing them.

This same strategy applies to treatment as well: the body is designed to recover by itself, provided that you know how to use it well. This is the art of posture. Once you understand that pain does not occur by chance, you are ready to go. In other words, nobody else than you created this disc hernia that causes such terrible pain!

Here are all the services I offer to individuals, families and education professionals. 
They are located in Switzerland where I'm based, but also in the USA, UK, South Africa, South East Asia and everywhere in Europe. With private people, I always work at a distance.

​What if it's too late?

What do you call too late: when you have pain already? It's late for sure, but who said it's too late?

Unfortunately, we all react late, i.e. when we already feel pain or have a limitation. But that does not mean it's TOO late. Most of my clients have severe symptoms (disc hernia, discopathy, osteoarthritis). They have already seen several therapists (physiotherapist, chiropractor, osteopath) and medical doctors. But the vast majority of the health professional focus on the symptoms rather than on the causes; hence, pain never truly disappears. Causal treatment is too often the missing piece of the puzzle. Once you invest in tackling the root causes, things get better.

The golden rule is simple: whatever be your condition, you will feel better if you use your body well than if you use it wrongly.

do you need to invest a lot?

I am driven by a societal vision: my goal is to participate in a better prevention of musculoskeletal disorders across all generations, countries and professions. Of course, I should pay my bills but money isn't my biggest drive. Therefore, I do my best to develop solutions that are affordable for anyone (and many free solutions: visit my YouTube channel!).

Furthermore, I always recommend minimum investment: with me, you will never need to buy a posture corrector, a kneeling chair or any other crazy accessory that you can find on the market. The philosophy is clear: freedom is acquired when you can take care of your health without spending much. Hence, there are minimum conditions that your furniture at work and at home needs to fulfill to be ergonomic, but my main treatment tool is gravity.

However, you WILL need to invest: time and energy. I won't fix your issues, I will empower you to fix them by yourself. Without your commitment and dedication to success, I will not be able to do anything for you. In exchange, I offer you freedom: you will learn to depend solely on yourself, but not on me nor or any other therapist!
